Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. Today’s post, we are showcasing new products from January- April 2026, Mini Catalog.

I love seeing the new catalogs when they come out. It feels like looking at a Sears catalog. As I looked through the catalog, making my wish list, one of the products caught my eye.

Cute as a bug Suite

Omg, this set is so cute!!! Bugs 🐛 and more bugs. There are willy worms, bees, crickets, ladybugs, and more. 

The stamps and dies are adorable, and the dies cut out images from a couple of the sheets of DSP.

There are dies you can build flowers and mushrooms/toadstool and more.

Along with the bugs, the DSP highlights greenery and nature and pretty patterns. This suite includes Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes of ladybugs, water droplets, and a gorgeous Old Olive ribbon. Now, let’s take a look at my card I have created from this suite of products.

Party Ants

When I saw the pattern paper that reminded me of a picnic blanket. What better to create than a card. And what picnic would it be if ants were involved! 😆

These ants have come to celebrate the picnic season 😆. They are celebrating with tooting of horns and waving of flags while marching along. These little guys are sure to put a smile on someone’s face.

Tutorial

To create this card, you will need:

• Cute as a Bug Suite
• Basic Black Cardstock-5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
• Poppy Parade Cardstock Layer 1- 5-1/4″ x 4″
• Daffodil Delight Cardstock Layer 2- 5″ x 3-3/4″
• Cardstock Scrap for DSP
• Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• Stampin’ Dimensionals small and large
• Glue Dots
• Paper Trimmer
• Stampin’ cut and emboss machine
• Bone Folder
• Memento Tuxedo Black Ink or Secret Sea (I used Secret Sea, a great alternative for black.)

1. Stamp the sentiment with ink to the right top of Daffodil Delight layer 1.
2. Adhere Daffodil Delight layer 1 to Poppy Parade layer 2. Add this to the Basic Black card base with multipurpose glue.
3. Cut a piece of cardstock down to 3″ x 3-3/4″ and cover with DSP.
4. Next, add the ribbon to the DSP piece across the top and bottom with glue dots, leaving a gap on the top and bottom (see photo for reference.) Take another piece of ribbon and tie a bow and add to the top center of ribbon with a glue dot.
5. Now, adhere this piece to the bottom card front with dimensionals, leaving a gap at the bottom (see photo for reference.)
6. Die cut the parade of ants with coordinating dies and add to card front above the bottom ribbon with dimensionals.
7. Finally add in a ladybug and some water droplets.
