I love things that are rustic. I love that old time country look and feel. I made this card to give it a Hawaiian rustic feel and I feel I accomplished it with this card. This card uses a few new items from the Holiday catalog. I am using the new galvanized cs and festive farmhouse elements for the word merry.
Dimensions:
Galvanized CS 2" x 5 1/2" for snowflake thinlit
Cherry Cobbler for card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Mossy Meadow mat layer 5 1/4" x 4"
Wood Textures DSP 5" x 4" rip bottom edge off
Adhere the wood textures dsp to the mossy meadow mat layer with snail adhesive. Now layer snowflakes, aligning it against the top edge of the wood dsp. Let it over hang to the mossy meadow and cut off any excess and adhere with snail to card base.
With glue dots adhere the Tropical elements onto the card front. I used two flowers and 4 leaves. Finally add the merry element with liquid glue.
