Today the Crafty Collaborators are showcasing their Easter cards, etc. Easter is fun with all the pastel colors of the Easter eggs, everyone dressing up in their Easter clothes, mothers in their Easter bonnets going to church, and when it is warm outside, an Easter parade followed by the Easter egg hunt.

I can remember when I was a kid getting the chocolate bunnies, and the first thing I would eat was the ears, lol! Did you do the same thing? After the egg hunt, mom would start Easter dinner, and of course, our Easter eggs got used for the potato salad and deviled eggs. What did you have for your Easter dinner?

So, as I thought about what I wanted to create for this hop, I knew I wanted to use the Wreaths of Bloom kit. I had seen one on another social media site with bunny ears. It was too cute! Knowing I wanted a bunny, I started playing with the Easter Bunny stamp set. I tried this, I tried that, and nothing looked good to me. So I went back to looking at a chocolate bunny. I had the wreath made and still trying to figure out how to get a bunny on it. I laid the wreath on my table and searched the web for ideas. I looked over at the wreath and knew how I wanted to add that chocolate bunny, and then it turned into two chocolate bunnies. So now let us look at how I got those two chocolate bunnies on there!

How adorable is this wreath? I can see more of these being made with themes such as ladybugs, butterflies, dragonflies, bees, and so much more! What will you create with this kit?

I hope I have inspired you to think outside the box or look deeper into the box to create alternative items with this kit.

Products used:

  • Wreath of Blooms Kit
  • Easter Bunny Punch (sorry, this is no longer available but you can still create it by stamping the bunnies and fussy cutting them and turning the bunny around, and then tracing it so you have the other bunny facing the opposite direction.)
  • Love You More Than Dies
  • One sheet of So Saffron cardstock
  • Scraps of Soft Suede for the words
  • Traces of Early Espresso for the bunnies
  • Adhesive Sheets
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals

Here is the original version of the wreath.
