Fresh as a daisy

I was not sure what I wanted to create for our team swap. So as I pondered about it, I started creating the bookmarks I will be handing out with the catalogs. I printed off the bookmarks and then took 1/2″ strips of the new In-Colors:

Boho Blue, Copper Clay, Moody Mauve, Pebbled Path, and Wild Wheat

and glued each strip across the bookmark. I then used the coordinating inks to stamp on each color using the carryover stamp set Alphabest and then added to each a matching In Color dots.

I had these pieces left over from the sides of the bookmarks and decided to use them on my swap cards. I used the Fresh as Daisy Suite. There is a sheet with several images that you can cut apart and I chose to use those for my cards.

My first card is showing off the Copper Clay. I started with a Copper Clay card base, cut this daisy image out of the sheet, and added it to the card front. I then added that strip from the bookmarks. Finally, I added the sentiment also from the Fresh as a Daisy, die-cut it out with the matching die, and popped it up with dimensional. I also added the new core color adhesive-backed gems in Lemon Lolly to the corner.

This card is using the Pebbled Path cardstock for the card base. I used two pieces from the DSP this time. Layered each one diagonally of each other. Added the strip and the same sentiment.

This card is using the Moody Mauve and two different sized of the DSP. I continued with the left-over bookmark strip and sentiment.

This card is using Wild Wheat as the card base. I know a lot of demos were not sure about Wild Wheat and I was one of them. But this card looks beautiful with the color of Pretty Peacock mixed in this design from the DSP. Do you like Wild Wheat or are you on the fence about it also?

This card uses the Boho Blue cardstock as its base and this image is from the dsp also. What do you think this scene looks like? Is it a desert scene or a beach scene? I would love to see your comments on this.
