This simple card is lovely for someone who needs a bit of a pick me up or just because. The colors and prints in the Inked Botanicals are great for a late summer or early fall style.

Followed a card sketch.

The card starts with a Wild Wheat card base of 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4.” Choosing five different pattern prints, cut them to 3/4″ x 4-1/2″ and layered side-by-side with a slight overlap and two of them slightly higher than the others.

Then add a 2″ x 4″ cardstock of Lost Lagoon and center it across the middle of the card. Add a Handmade Tag punched from Copper Clay to the right side, slightly angled. Next, die-cut two embroidery hoops from Pebbled Path and Crushed Curry. Stamp the sentiment “Sending you a handmade HUG” in Tuxedo Black onto the Crushed Curry. Taking the Pebble Path Embroidery hoop and the stamped piece, place the two together, add dimensionals to the back to hold the embroidery hoop and center together, and place it to the left of the Handmade tag piece.
