Welcome to today’s challenge with the Crafty Collaborations group! If this is your first time hopping with us, we are thrilled to have you here. We are a collective of demonstrators from the USA, Canada, and beyond, sharing our inventive ideas to spark your creativity. If you’ve hopped with us earlier, we’re delighted you’ve returned to soak up more inspiration. And if you’re new here, Welcome! Let’s dive right into the hop!

This month’s hop is a color scheme, and as soon as I saw the books, I thought of the dsp from All About Autumn that has books in it. So, my project is featuring them.

This card can be used as a sympathy card or just to let someone know you are grateful for all they have done.

  • The card base is a Basic Black cut at 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2.”
  • The first layer is Early Espresso cut at 4″ x 5-1/4,” and the third layer is a piece of dsp from All About Autumn and is cut at 3-3/4″ x 5″ and this has the gold foil in it. Isn’t it pretty?
  • I took the book dsp and cut one of the bookcases 3″ x 4-3/4″ and popped it up with stampin’ dimensionals.
  • I took a piece of Very Vanilla and stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler then took the long embossed die placed it below the sentiment and ran it through the embossing machine. I die-cut the sentiment out with the die.
  • With a glue dot on the left side and a dimensional on the right side, I added it to the lower card front.
  • Tied a bow from the Calypso Coral Braided Linen Trim and add it to the corner of the sentiment to finish the card.
