Today is chilly here in Ohio, the temperature at the time of this being typed is thirty-nine degrees. Perfect weather for football, sweaters, and hot drinks in our thermoses. During this time of weather, we love to drink hot chocolate and hot apple cider. Which drink do you love to drink this time of the season? Leave me a comment, I would love to read about your favorite hot drink.

This brings us to the next cards that have been created with the Warmest Heart bundle and paired with the Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

Created this card to thank my delivery drivers with two packages of each of the hot drinks I mentioned above. They are so appreciative of the small gesture made just for them and the perfect card for this.

  1. I started with a piece of Calypso Coral cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″. Took three pieces of the designer series paper and a piece of gold paper and cut them to 3/4″ x 4-1/2.”
  2. I adhered these with multipurpose glue starting with the gold pieces and then adding the Garden Walk papers slightly overlapping them over the gold and down a bit to stagger them.
  3. Next, I die-cut an oval piece with tuxedo black ink, stamped thanks on the right-hand side of the oval.
  4. Stamped the thermos in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Poppy Parade, then stamped the thermos pattern in Poppy Parade. Die-cut the image out with coordinating dies.
  5. Adhere the oval to the center of the card with multipurpose glue and add the thermos with dimensional to the left of the stamped image.
  6. Finally using the Calypso Coral 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim and tied a bow. Added it below the thanks with a glue dot and added three of the Crumb Cake Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots to finish the card.

Needing a birthday card for an upcoming friend’s birthday, created a simple card.

  1. Used Calypso Coral for the card base (same size as the card above) and added a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock of 5-1/4″ x 4″ adhered with multipurpose glue.
  2. Die-cut the gold paper with the countryside die, third die down starting with the largest and going down from the die set.
  3. Cut three strips of the Garden Walk into three sizes:
    • A-1″ x 3″
    • B- ” x 3-1/2″
    • C-1″ x 3-3/4″
  4. Started with A, then added C, and lastly B. Adhere with multipurpose glue near the bottom of the card.
  5. Wrap the Calypso Coral 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim around the gold piece twice and tie a knot. Add the gold piece next slightly overlapping the Garden Walk paper with multipurpose glue.
  6. Using the small Countryside Inn die, cut out from Basic White cardstock. Stamp sentiment from Go-To Greetings stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. With dimensionals, adhere below the gold paper.
  7. Stamp the thermos the same as above, and also die-cut the bottle in Basic White cardstock. Cut the lid off the thermos with paper snips. Adhere the thermos over the Basic White piece with multipurpose glue. Now add the thermos and cup to the card front on the gold paper with dimensionals.
  8. Finally, add three Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots in Moody Mauve.

The Garden Walk paper is perfect for the autumn season with the Warmest Heart bundle. You will find this stamp set is very versatile for any time of the year. Here are a few more cards that are from the catalog. As you can see they are cute simple cards. What would you create with the Warmest Heart bundle? Let me know in the comments.
