Today’s featured highlight is the marvelous Z-Fold cards, an excellent choice for those who admire creativity and elegance. Crafting these cards is a delightful experience and they truly shine in displaying your artistic flair.

We have chosen Moody Mauve cardstock combined with the Poetic Expressions Designer Series Paper for this exquisite card. The sentiment has been expertly crafted using Canva, adding a modern touch to the design. The vibrant butterflies truly stand out, creating a captivating visual impact.

Here's a side view of the card, and let's be real – those butterflies really take it to the next level. This card is so easy to mass-produce thanks to the diverse range of designs in the Poetic Expressions pack. It's a significant change, no doubt about it.
  1. To create the card, start with a piece of card stock measuring 11″ x 4-1/4″ and a second coordinating piece measuring 11″ x 2″.
  2. Place the larger piece horizontally on your scoreboard and confidently score at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″.
  3. Make a mountain fold on the first scoreline and a valley fold on the second scoreline to form a basic z-fold card.
  4. Repeat the scoring and folding on the second piece of card stock using the same measurements and folds.
  5. Flip the smaller piece of card stock over so that the long section is on top, and the folded sections are underneath and on the right-hand side, ensuring it fits over the top of the larger piece.
  6. Add DSP to the different sections of the card as desired, I used 5-1/4″ x 4″ and two pieces 2-1/2″ x 4″ for the card base. For the second piece, I cut the DSP1-3/4″ x 4″ and two pieces 1-3/4″ x 2-3/4.”
  7. Additionally, stamp a sentiment and place it on the right side of the card base. Ensure the two sections are facing the correct way before adding papers and embellishments.
  8. To attach the small piece to the large piece, turn the smaller piece over so that the long section remains on the left-hand side.
  9. Apply adhesive to the left half of the long section. Then add adhesive to the back of the small piece of card stock and secure the last section to the card base, flush with the right-hand edge.
  10. Congratulations, you have successfully finished creating the basic card.

Now let us hop on over to the next demonstrator to see their Z-Fold.
