Welcome to today’s challenge with the Crafty Collaborations group! If this is your first time hopping with us, we are thrilled to have you here. We are a collective of demonstrators from the USA, Canada, and beyond, sharing our inventive ideas to spark your creativity. If you’ve hopped with us earlier, we’re delighted you’ve returned to soak up more inspiration. And if you’re new here, Welcome! Let’s dive right into the hop!

This month’s hop is about bright and beautiful colors.

At first, I thought, “What can I create with these colors?” I searched through my stamp sets. Nothing was really catching my eye, so I decided to start gathering the colors. I first started with the cardstock, but I did not have Azure Afternoon. Next, I got out my ink pads and blends. The only color I had not played with, was the Azure Afternoon, and I only currently have the Stampin’ Blends. I scribble each color of my blends and the Azure Afternoon caught my eye and after looking at the Country Flowers stamp set, I knew I wanted the teapot in that color. I immediately fell in love with that teapot. I stamped and colored it and loved the look, and after that, everything fell into place.

I colored in the plant and leaves in Shy Shamrock blends, the flowers in Azure Afternoon and Bubble Bath light blends. My card base is Melon Mambo, Layer 1 is Lemon Lime Twist and layer 2 is Daffodil Delight. I used the Stylish Shapes die circle for the sentiment. Finally, I added some shimmer gems. For the sentiment, I covered up the word EVER. with tape, stamped the rest of it in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. Before stamping, I removed the tape and repeated the step covering the words BEST.FRIEND. and then stamping EVER. under the previous stamped sentiment.

Country Flowers

This card turned out beautifully! Who would have thought that these colors together would be stunning! I know I did not think so. Would you have chosen these colors? I would love to read your comments on this. Also, do not forget to grab the FREE tutorial on this card HERE.

Now, let’s hop on over to our next demonstrator to see what they are showcasing.

FREE Kit of the Month with $50.00 Purchase

Each kit of the month tantalizingly offers pre-cut supplies to create four to five irresistible projects, a package of embellishments or a bolt of ribbon, and a 1/2 package of DSP. This month’s class features the Coffee with Friends Stamp set that you will ardently need to stamp with. You will also need markers or blends of your choice for creating a personality to the images (I used the 2024-2026 In Colors markers), adhesive, and a sentiment stamp set of your choice (I used Latte Love).
