How do you say poinsettia, do you say it as poin-set-ee-uh or poin-set-uh. Either way it is still correct. Did you know that the Spanish missionaries called the plant Flor de la Noche Buena (Flower of the Holy Night)? They named it this way due to its resemblance to the Star of Bethlehem. In the early days, flowers were scarce for the holidays. These plants became popular for the Christmas season because of their weather hardiness. Their red and green colors established them as a holiday tradition.

This card features Real Red and Basic White cardstock with DSP from the Traditions of St. Nick. Added the large poinsettia and popped up the small poinsettia. Added the gold gems to the center of each poinsettia. Finally popped up the sentiment from the Joyful Saying Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.
Do you love the traditional colors of the poinsettia, or do you love the other colors? Leave me a comment as to what color poinsettia you love. Below is the recipe for this card you can download.
