What is in the January kit?

The January 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, “Hearts for You,” is perfect for creating stylish and heartfelt cards. Use it for Valentine’s Day and beyond. This kit provides everything needed to craft nine projects—three each of three unique designs—with matching envelopes. It includes heart-shaped die cuts, stickers, twine, and sparkling heart gem embellishments. Coordinating colors are: Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, and Real Red. Includes a Real Red Classic Stampin’ Spot included to finish the set.

Putting it together

I followed the instructions for the first three cards. With the leftovers, I also made a two-page scrapbook page to complement the set.

The cards

These cards are just gorgeous! The gold enhances each cards style.

Each of these cards has layers upon layers to enhance their beauty. 

The first card focuses on multiple hearts from printed images, die-cuts, gold heart stickers, and jeweled heart embellishments.

The second cards beauty is a large gold floral heart suspended over the printed red heart with dimensionals. This simplicity of this card makes a powerful statement with it simple shapes and the jeweled hearts added to  compliment the card.

The third cards impact is all about LOVE. It showcases rows of hearts suspended by dimensionals and a layered heart centered onto the rows of hearts. To add a gold accent, the sticker LOVE is added across the hearts.

Each card highlights a few of the sentiments in the provided stamp set.

Complementing the cards with 2-page scrapbook pages

Using leftover pieces, I decided to incorporate scrapbook pages. I carried over some of the designs from the cards over to the scrapbook. Adding in two of the envelopes with placeholders for pictures and memorabilia. I am using the new two-tone cardstock in Petal Pink for my scrapbook bases. These pages are 12″ x 12″.

Used the gold heart for the pull tab on the photo placement card. The printed hearts card can be used for a photo or a journal block.

I’m still following the cards theme by creating the hearts again suspended by dimensionals and adding the hearts and love sticker. The panel with the printed hearts could be used for photos or a journal block.

Adding another envelope, but this time using magnets to help keep it closed. This can be for more photos or adding memorabilia such as dried rose petals. 🌹
