Spring is coming, and I am so ready for it. Are you? Today, I am sharing a gift box idea. This gift box is a unique one that I just had to give it a go. I found a video tutorial of it on YouTube from Tanu Creative. This tutorial perfectly complements the Beadable Pen Gift Box I wanted to make. Crafting a Beadable Pen Gift Box can be a fun and creative project.

I found these beadable pens and accessories from Amazon. And the pens fit the box perfectly, ideal for a Beadable Pen Gift Box. This box can be created in any theme and colors and would be a great teacher’s gift. Also, perfect for craft fair sellers. Now let us take a look at the gift box.

Beadable Pen Gift Box & Tag

Here is a close up of the box and tag. Used the Delightful Wishes DSP and dies. Die cut the flowers from cardstock and from the Floral and Vellum DSP. Added a bow and a tiny bee trinket. I used a retired punch for the tag. You can use anything you have in your stash to create this Beadable Pen Gift Box.

A Look Inside the Beadable Pen Gift Box

This holds the beadable pen I made perfectly. As you can see from the picture, it fits well in the Beadable Pen Gift Box. This box has a V shape inside, so the pen lays in it with minimal moving around. The pens colors I matched to go with the box. Are you ready to create this box? The tutorial is below. Tutorial Instructions

Box Base Measurements: Imperial: 5 1/8” x 7 1/2”. Metric: 13 cm x 19 cm.

• Score on the short side at: 1 3/16″, 1 3/4”, 2 9/16”, 3 3/8”, and 3 15/16″. Metric: 3 cm, 4.5 cm, 6.5 cm, 8.5 cm, and 10 cm.
• Score on the long side at: 5/8” on each end. Metric: 1.5 cm on each end.

Box Assembly:

• Burnish all fold lines starting with mountain, mountain, valley, mountain, and mountain.
• Start from the bottom and measure up on the 5/8″ (1.5 cm) and repeat from the top. Cut the two ends. Apply adhesive to the back flap and adhere to the other flap to create box.

Box End Cover Measurements: Imperial: 1 1/8” x 2 3/8”. Metric: 2.8 cm x 6 cm.

• Score on the long side at: 9/16″, 9/16″. and 9/16″. Metric: 1.5 cm, 3 cm, and 4.5 cm.

Box End Cover Assembly:

• Fold along the score lines. Apply adhesive to one end. Attach the end cover to the bottom inside end of the box. Fold it over the top and tuck it in. Repeat for other end.

Box Lid Measurements: Imperial: 4 3/16″” x 7 1/2”. Metric: 10.6 cm x 19 cm.

• Score on the long side at: 1 1/4”, 1 7/8”, 3 1/8”, and 3 3/4”. Metric:3.2 cm, 4.8 cm, 8 cm, and 9.6 cm.

Box Lid Assembly:

• Fold along the score lines. Apply adhesive to secure the back of the lid and adhere to other back section. Slide it onto the box.
• Decorate with stamps and embellishments as desired. Enjoy crafting your beautiful Beadable Pen Gift Box!
