Hello and welcome to our Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. We are a group of demonstrators worldwide, sharing our passion for Stampin’ Up! We post twice a month on the first and third Saturday of the month. Each month, a theme, technique, card, color, sketch, and more is assigned. If you are new here, “Welcome.” If you are a subscriber, “Welcome back.” We know you will enjoy seeing our beautiful creations. Today, we are to use three items from the Tic-Tac-Toe board.

I chose the layers, fun fold, and gems or sequins.

I found this fun fold card at Simply Simple Stamping. Connie Stewart is the queen of fun folds. She inspires me and many other demos with her love for fun folds.

Triple Bridge Z-Fold

This card definitely has a WOW appeal. I had loads of fun and duhh moments when I cut a few pieces incorrectly  🤣 . Thankfully, I know the wrong cuts will be used for a scrap pieces card later on 😊.

Let us now take a look at my card. Since this is the new year, a new year’s theme is what I went with for this card.

Front

I used Basic Black cardstock for the card base. For my layers, I used up the last of the Modern Christmas Specialty paper. This design from the paper pack has that new years style to it. For the bridges, I used the All Season Velvet Specialty Cardstock of White. Next, I used the 1/8″ hole punch from the Hole Punch Assortment. This helped with tying the Large Gold Hoop to the card base to surround the image.

Gold hoop design

I punched a 2-3/8″ circle from Gold and then punching a 2″ circle from the tree design dsp. I then fussy cut two trees to add to the dsp. Added the sentiment from the Seasons Greetings Mix and Match Ephemera Pack (Unfortunately, this is sold out). Finally, added my punched piece to the center strip with glue dots.

For my Gems, I used the Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments in gold.

Back of side

Lastly, I added another sentiment to the back.

I am currently working on another card using the Cute as a Bug to post around February-March. ☺️

Now, let’s head on over to our next demonstrator to see what they have chosen for their Tic-Tac-Toe.
