Each week, our team lead inspires us with a sketch challenge. Still playing with the Made with Love Sweet, I created another card inspired by this sketch.
I decided to turn my card sideways. I had not used the stamps yet, so I took the opportunity to do some simple stamping.
This card turned out beautifully. Perfect for your Valentine.
Instructions
- Card base is Real Red cardstock, 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored 4-1/4″.
- Cut two strips of DSP 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ and 2″ x 4-1/2″. A piece of Pretty In Pink cardstock cut to 2″ x 3-1/2″. Use Strawberry Slush Ink, stamp LOVE on the right side.
- Stamp a small heart with Strawberry Slush ink on Basic White. Using Nested Essentials dies, cut a ribbon.
- Start by adhering the 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ strip down the middle.
- Next, adhere to the 2″ x 4-1/4″ strip, slightly overlapping the other. Now, adhere to the cardstock piece, slightly overlapping the DSP. Adhere the ribbon, then using dimensionals, add the heart over the ribbon.
