A Quilted Christmas with Classic Charm
This handmade card is inspired by quilt blocks. This simple card features a strip of quilt-inspired Designer Series Paper stretching across the card. I added in a piece of the Real Red 1/4″ ribbon across the center also.
I die-cut a stocking then cut off the top. With dimensionals I then add the piece over the center of the strip. I then added the Adhesive-Backed Mini Christmas Buttons to create the focal point.
The white background allows the focal point to shine, while the Garden Green card base frames the design.
Tips for Recreating This Card
- Use coordinating Christmas Designer Series Paper for quilt blocks.
- Keep the background plain and simple so the quilt pattern remains the focal point.
- Finish with ribbon and embellishments.
