Welcome to Cupcakes and Lattes Stampes! I’m happy to join the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop, where our theme is Blogger’s Choice.
I chose a handmade Halloween banner for my project filled with cute faces and festive paper details. The complete display brings together a little vampire a smiling jack-o-lantern, and whimsical skeleton.
Each character has its own layered pennant, with pumpkin pie, basic black, very vanilla and striped patterns repeated throughout the project. Small accents of a ghost, cat with a witch’s hat, and a spiderweb give each banner piece a finishing touch.
Between the pennants are folded paper rosettes with basic black centers. I love the dimension they add! The pleated shapes break up the flat panels and help carry the pumpkin pie and basic black color scheme across the banner. The basic white ribbon connects everything and finishes the ends with bows.
The pumpkin sits in the middle, with the vampire and skeleton on each side. Together, they create a cheerful Halloween decoration that would be fun to display on a mantle, shelf, or craft-room.
Which detail is your favorite: the characters or the paper rosettes? Let me know in the comments.
