Stamping with Friends Blog Hop Group Banner

Hello and welcome to our Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. We are a group of demonstrators worldwide, sharing our passion for Stampin’ Up! We post twice a month on the first and third Saturday of the month. Each month a theme, technique, card, color, sketch and more is assigned. If you are new here, “Welcome.” If you are a subscriber, “Welcome back.” We know you will enjoy seeing our beautiful creations.

This blog hop showcases the new Christmas Scottie bundle on page 34 of the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog.

As soon as I saw the Scottie I knew I had to have it. It reminded me of this song:

How much is that doggie in the window?
The one with the waggly tail
How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggies are for sale…

I paired the Christmas Scottie with the SAB DSP Rings with Love. You can get this DSP free with a qualifying order of $50.00 or more.

* 24 sheets of patterned paper: 2 each of 12 double-sided designs
* 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm)
* Acid-free
* Lignin free
* Coordinates with the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder (item 159888; sold separately)

This paper includes images of cottages, mushrooms, acorns, birds, tree rings, and flowers perfect for card fronts for your cards. Or cut out individual images to use as accents. Want to make it easier? You can cut out some of the pictures with the dies included in the coordinating Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder. The paper also includes basic patterns that you can use with any project.

Card Recipe:

Very Vanilla card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″

2 strips of DSP 1″x 5″

1 strip of DSP 1″ x 3″

Punch a Scottie out of the cottage DSP and a bow from poppy parade cardstock.

Adhere DSP with liquid glue and the bow to the Scottie. Use Dimensionals to pop up the dog. Stamp sentiment in memento tuxedo black. Lastly add three red rhinestones under the sentiment.

Now let’s hop over to Melva Peter’s to see what she has created.
