Who would’ve thought there’s a whole day dedicated to tools! It’s the perfect excuse to strut into your garage, shed, or wherever your tools dwell, and give them the TLC they deserve. Or hey, why not take a trip to the store and splurge on some shiny new gadgets? It’s Tool Day, after all!

If you happen to know someone born on National Tool Day, this card is absolutely a must! Toss in a gift card to their go-to hardware store and watch them light up like a power tool. It’s a surefire way to make the handyperson in your life grin from ear to ear!

Steps to create the card:

1. Start with a 4-1/4″ x 11″ Real Red cardstock and score it at 5-1/2.”
2. Next cut a 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ Real Red cardstock.
3. Now cut a piece of the Trusty Tools DSP hammers to 5-1/4″ x 4″ and adhere to the card front.
4. Cut a piece of the Trusty Tools DSP rulers to 2-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ and adhere to the Real Red cardstock in step 2.
5. Fussy cut a hammer and tape measure from the Trusty Tools DSP and adhere to the ruler paper (see photo for placement).
6. Create a flag from Basic White cardstock and using sentiment of choice, stamp it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Cut another flag bigger than the sentiment flag from the Trusty Tools grid paper and adhere sentiment to it with dimensionals.
7. Adhere over the hammer with dimensionals. Tie a linen thread bow to the hammer.
8. Add three gems to the card (see photo for placement).
9. Finally, adhere the card to the card front.

Do not worry if you did not get of the Trusty Tools DSP at sale-a-bration time. You can still create this card with the stamp set and cardstock colors of your choice or wait until May, where I will have a Father’s Day To-Go class with this set and the Trusty Tools DSP (limited quantities will be available).
