Today’s card uses a few techniques to give the card more dimensions.
The first technique is pad to paper. This is when you swipe your ink pad over your cardstock. This technique can create the illusion of aging to the paper. It showcases dark and light highlights.
To continue with the aged look, take a piece of cardstock, spritz with water, and scrunch the paper.
I then took a strip of DSP and tore the edges. Unfortunately, after adhering to the piece, I realized I forgot to swipe some ink on the edges ๐. Have you ever done that?
Next, I wrapped ribbon around it and tied into a bow, then adhered the piece onto the card base. Added my sentiment and some Smoky Slate and Basic Gray pearls.
To finish the card, I die cut two magnolias from Basic White. Stamped the one and colored in with blends of Shy Shamrock and Petunia Pop and adhered to the card front.

This is a card one of four. Come back each day to see the next cards highlighting the Magnolia Mood stamp set.
