For the final Denim Days card, it is featuring the Country Birdhouse. This card highlights a blending technique using the Azure Stampin’ Blends. The bird just loves his home and what better way to have it be the main focus than adhering it to a Countryside Corner die cut in Misty Moonlight and to finish it off with a bow to carry over the denim look and feel.

Country Birdhouse

Step-by-Step instructions:

1. Start with a piece of Basic White cardstock cut it down to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and score it at 4-1/4″.
2. Next using the largest Countryside Corners die, die cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock.
3. Next, take a piece of the Wildly Flowering DSP and cut it down to 2-1/8″ x 5-1/4″ and adhere to the card front on the left side with liquid glue.
4. Using dimensionals, add the Misty Moonlight piece to the center of the card front.
5. Taking a piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the birdhouse, wood grain on ledge and bird in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
6. Using Dark Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Blends, start coloring the edge of the birdhouse and then using the Light Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Blends to color in the center of the birdhouse, while blending in with the dark.
7. Color in the birdhouse hole, and perch hole with Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.
8. For the ledge piece color in with the Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.
9. Color in the bird with Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends. Use Light Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends to color the feet and beak.
10. Using the birdhouse roof dies, die cut three different pieces of the Country Lace DSP and adhere them with liquid glue to the birdhouse roof. Tie a bow with the White 1/4″ Diagonal Trim and using a glue dot add to the roof.
11. Using Dimensionals, add the birdhouse to the Misty Moonlight piece and then add the bird with Dimensionals also.
12. To finish the card, add three of the Basic Gray and Smoky Slate Pearls.
