You can create fun, simple cards with just a few die cut shapes and adding additional contrast with some background stamping. With this card we used just simple die cut of round shapes. By adding a neutral color to it we get the vibrant color of Shy Shamrock to pop a little more and then add a bright color of yellow to enhance the piece just a little bit more.

Now for the ins and outs of this card.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Grab a piece of Shy Shamrock cardstock and cut it down to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″.
2. Next grab a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut this down to 5-1/4″ x 4″. Set this aside for now.
3. Using the scalloped and pinking circle dies along with the dies that create circles and diamonds, decide which of the circles you want to have the circles or diamonds in the center and die cut them from Shy Shamrock glimmer paper. Repeat one of the circles from Basic White cardstock.
4. Now die cut two small circles, one medium circle and a starburst from the Unbounded Beauty DSP.

Stamping the Background

1. Taking the Shy Shamrock pieces and the Basic White piece, lay these on the front of the card. Do not glue them down. Determine where you will stamp your images.
2. Start at the top and stamp your first image in Tuxedo Black or neutral color of choice, slightly take your Shy Shamrock piece and slide it up a little and then stamp your next image. Repeat this step for all images if need be.
3. Next stamp the sentiment in the center of the Basic White piece.
4. Now adhere your Shy Shamrock pieces, your DSP pieces and your Basic White piece with liquid glue.
5. Finally add three of the Adhesive-Backed Dots for Days dots to the card front.
