Loving the Flowers and Frames cards?
I find these cards quick and easy, especially without any stamping. I love keeping this kind of Designer Series Papers and ephemera packs in my stash for the special extra elements.
When I need a quick card, these come in handy to create for last minute. They are very versatile for any occasions, holiday’s and more.
This card is for a cousin who has helped my family since the tornado. She took care of my mother until my father was released from the hospital, and then they went to stay with his sister and her husband.
So, to thank her for all her help, I will also include a gift card for her favorite eating dinner place.

Step-by-step instructions
- Start with a piece of Early Espresso cardstock and cut it down to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and score it at 4-1/4″.
- Next, cut two pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock down to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and adhere one of these to the card front with dimensionals and one to the inside of the card with liquid glue.
- Now find two complimentary pieces of the Flowers and Frames DSP. Cut one to 3″ x 4-1/4″ and the other to 1″ x 3-3/4″.
- Adhere the large DSP piece to the center of the Very Vanilla piece using liquid glue.
- Then, place the 1″ DSP piece on the left-hand side, overlapping the large DSP piece with a slight gap. Refer to the photo above for placement.
- Next, take one of the oval frames and adhere it to the center of the pieces with liquid glue.
- Now find the “all my love & thanks to you” from Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera pack piece and adhere it with liquid glue to the left side (see photo for placement).
- Again, create your bow with the Fork Bow method and adhere to the right of the sentiment with glue dots.
- Finally, add three of the Adhesive-Backed Dots for Days dots to finish the card.
