The final card for this week is all about showing gratitude. Who do you know that deserves a big thank you for everything they do? This card is made using leftover DSP strips, and with a few little snips here and there, the pieces fit perfectly on the card front.

I know you have enjoyed this week’s posts. Would you create these cards in the colors I have chosen? or would you change it up? What dies would you use for your cards? The same as mine, the Spotlight on Nature or do you have a favorite go to dies? Leave me a comment as to what you would do with these cards.

Thanks

Step-by-step instructions

  • Starting with a piece of Early Espresso cardstock, cut it down to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and score it at 4-1/4″.
  • Using a large scrap of DSP (mine is 3-1/4″ x4″) and adhere to your card front with liquid glue.
  • Find three pieces of scrap DSP, two of them with a print and one solid colored, if desired. Adhere these to the card front at different angles (mine were rectangle strips, 1″ x 4-1/2 for my solid piece and the two printed pieces are 1″ x 4″ and 1″ x 3-1/2″) and overlap one print over the solid piece with liquid glue.
  • Take a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut Spotlight on Nature circle 1A (see diagram below) and then die cut Spotlight on Nature circle 2B (see diagram below) from Peach Pie cardstock. Using liquid glue, glue the Peach Pie to the Basic White and then adhere to card front with dimensionals.
  • Take another piece of Basic White cardstock and cut it down to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and adhere to inside of card with liquid glue.
  • Find the word “thanks” from the Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and using liquid glue, adhere the sentiment at an angle onto the Peach Pie circle.
  • Tie a bow with Peach Pie 3/8″ bordered ribbon and adhere with a glue dot at an angle also (see photo for placement).
  • Finally add five of the Adhesive-Backed Dots for Days dots to the card.
