For my next card, we are embossing a piece of cardstock. Then we are adding layers of DSP and cardstock to create a stunning card! I used a card sketch for this card that I found on the internet from another Demo. Unfortunately, I forgot who it was.

Take a look at this card! It is gorgeous and actually simple. You can recreate this card by the instructions I have provided.

Step-by-step instructions

Card base and embossed layer

• Take a piece of Highland Heather and cut it down to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
• Take a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut it down to 4″ x 5-1/2″. Emboss it with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere this to the card front with Tombow Liquid Glue.

DSP and Cardstock Panels

• Now cut the five cardstock layers from Highland Heather cardstock:
  • 1-1/8″ x 1-1/8″
  • 1-1/4″ x 2-1/2″
  • 1-1/4″ x 2-1/4″
  • 1-1/2″ x 3-1/8″
• DSP Layers are:
  • 1″ x 1″
  • 1″ x 2-1/4″
  • 1″ x 2″
  • 1-1/4″ x 3″
• Now adhere the DSP to it coordinating cardstocks with Tombow Liquid Glue.

Assemble card front

• Start assembling the pieces as desired or follow the picture and adhere them with Tombow Liquid Glue.
• Next cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 3/4″ x 3-1/2″. Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink. Center this over the panels and adhere with dimensionals.
• Fussy cut a flower and add to the card with dimensionals. See my card for reference or add it where you would like it to be.
• Finally add the three Shiny-Adhesive Backed Sequins.
