As autumn creeps upon us, sometimes we need to let others know how much we appreciate them. Sometimes it is hard to say it in person, but it can be conveyed through a card. This card is perfect for this. Another simple card with the embossed image as the focal point. Behind it is a piece of the beautiful Simply Zinnia DSP. There is also a pop of Basic White and the card base of Highland Heather.
Step-by-step instructions
Card base and layers
- Start with a piece of Highland Heather cardstock and cut it down to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Cut a piece of Basic White down to 5-1/4″ x 4″. Adhere this to the card front with Tombow Liquid Glue.
- Next, Cut a piece of the Melon Mambo colored DSP down to 5″ x 3-3/4″. Adhere this to the Basic White piece with Tombow Liquid Glue.
Sentiment and embossed piece
- Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock 2-1/2″ x 4″ and emboss it.
- Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock 1/2″ x 3″ and stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Memento Black ink
- Adhere embossed image to center of card front with Tombow Liquid Glue. Next adhere sentiment to embossed piece on the bottom right corner with Dimensionals.
- Finally, add three Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to finish the card.
