We are a group of Demonstrators sharing our passion for scrapbooks along with our cards. I know we will inspire you to put those photos to use with Stampin’ Up! new line of scrapbook products. We are excited to share them with you. If you are new, “Welcome”. If you are a follower, thank you for your continued support to be a part of our crafting community. Now let’s get on with the hop!

This month, I am focusing on the Perennial Lavender products for spring scrapbooking pages. The weather here has gotten cold. I know warm weather will be here again. Until then, I will bring spring in with scrapbooking. I am so delighted that Stampin’ Up! has included this in our products. I have been watching several former CTMH Makers who have transitioned over to us. They are truly inspiring.

The last time I created scrapbook pages, it has probably been close to twenty years.  I’m excited to be back at it. So let’s get to my first pages.

Page 1

I started with a 12″ x 12″ basic white piece as my base. Then proceeded with laying out several pieces of the Perennial Lavender DSP to figure out which direction I wanted. From there, built the photo placements and added Iridescent Striped Ribbon. Next added my other elements using the Spotlight on Nature Dies and the Butterfly Accents. Finally, adding in some Wink of Stella splattered all over and ending with the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.

Continuing on to the second page by reversing the placement. I left a large open space for adding the journaling. I used the emboss die of the butterfly postage stamp. This was for one of the Spotlight on Nature Die circles to continue with a postage theme.

I enjoyed getting back into scrapbooking and looking ahead to creating more. So be sure to be a subscriber to my blog to see more pages in the future.

Now, let’s head on over to our next demonstrator, Julia Quinn. To see what she has created for the scrapbook hop.
