Happy New Year!

Welcome to the first Sweet Stampede blog hop! We are so excited that you are here for our blog hop! For today’s blog hop, we’re featuring projects from the new spring mini 2025 catalog that is live today.

I am highlighting the Floral Delight Suite on pages thirty-three to thirty-seven. This set is perfect for your spring cards, birthday cards and so much more.

Colors in the suite

Products in the Floral Delight Suite

The suite has tiny bee trinkets, Daffodil Delight ribbon and the Delightful Wishes bundle. Look at how beautiful these sample cards are. The die set even has two dies for the sentiment to create a layering effect.

Designer Series Paper

The DSP is so beautiful! It features patterns of stripes, gingham, and flowers. These are alongside a couple of neutral colors of Old Olive and Pecan Pie. There is also a pack of coordinating floral and gingham vellum to match.

Wishing you a happy birthday

I created a card for the hop. Using the colors of Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow and Basic White. This card highlights the DSP beautifully. I dotted the I’s in wishing with the tiny bees. Such a simple card with lots of DSP layering. I know you to will fall in love with this suite just as I did.

Step-by-step instructions

Supplies:

  • Basic White cardstock for card base – 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
  • Basic White scraps for sentiment and banner
  • Pecan Pie Cardstock for die cutting sentiment layer
  • Three pieces of patterned DSP- 1″ x 5″ for layer 1
  • One piece of Neutral DSP- 4″ x 5-1/4″ for layer 1
  • One piece of Floral DSP-2-3/4″ x 4″ for layer A
  • One piece of Neutral DSP- 3″ x 4-1/4″ for layer A
  • Daffodil Delight ribbon
  • Tiny Bee Trinkets- 2
  • Mossy Meadow Ink Pad
  • Multipurpose glue
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
  1. Start by adhering Neutral DSP layer 1 to card front.
  2. Next adhere the three pieces of pattern DSP to the layer evenly spacing them.
  3. Wrap a piece of the Daffodil Delight Ribbon around the card front and tie into a knot. Trim ends.
  4. First, adhere layer A Floral DSP to layer A Neutral piece. Then, attach it to the card front on the right side using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Now die cut the sentiment base from Basic White and the sentiment layer in Pecan pie. Adhere them on top of each other, and then to the card front. See picture for placement.
  6. Now add two bees to dot the I’s.
  7. Die cut the banner from Basic White and stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink. Adhere to card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. See photo for placement.

I hope my project has inspired you to create with this suite of products. Be on the lookout for more projects coming soon. Now let us hop on over to our next team member and their project.
