Welcome to our blog hop. Today it is bloggers choice, and I have chosen to create a Valentine decor piece. Expect engaging posts twice a month, on the first and third Saturday of each month at four pm est.

Valentine Wreath

In the fall I found this adorable door wall hanging and I wanted to use it year-round. I decided to create a Valentine wreath for it. My inspiration came from our Paper Pumpkin kit, “Hearts for you” Valentine cards. Loved the real red and gold in the kit. And continued the theme with these colors.

I used the Round We Go dies from the annual catalog on page 63 to create each rosette. Using cardstock colors in Poppy Parade, Petal Pink and Basic White. Added in the Online Exclusives Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper to add more appealing designs. For my sentiment, I am using the new mini catalog Hugs for Love bundle on page 54. I stamped it in Real Red ink. Added in two of the heart jeweled gems from the Paper Pumpkin kit I had left over. I used the retired punch Kiss punch for the centers of each rosette. To finish the wreath, I added a bow with the Gold 1-1/2″ Open Weave Trim.

Valentine Rosettes

I created six rosettes to fit the door. Each rosette uses two pieces of cardstock or designer series paper to create one rosette.

Valentine Rosettes

For this rosette I embossed the pieces with the Sale-a-bration embossing folder Starstruck on page 7. Added two of the heart jeweled gems from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Here is the next rosette that I added the sentiment to. Inking all of the rosette’s edges with Real Red ink.

I enjoyed creating these rosettes for the wreath. I hope I have inspired you to get out your stamps and dies and create these for your upcoming holiday’s. Now let us hop on over to our next demonstrator, Teresa Conway, to see what she has created for us.
