Today’s blog post is Bloggers Choice, and I created a card for our monthly team swap. The card is beautifully designed with simple shapes and an elegant background.
The colors used for my card are:
Strawberry Slush, Peaceful Pine, Basic White, Barely Blush, and gold.
I started with a card base of Strawberry Slush. Then, using the April product of the month, Eyelet Blooms die. I die cut from Peaceful Pine.
I then cut three strips from Barely Blush Velveteen, Thick Basic White Cardstock, and Velvet Meadow DSP. Still using the Velvet Meadow, I cut a square.
I adhered the peaceful pine with liquid glue and added the square to the bottom right corner. Then, on the top left, I added the strips. The Velveteen and Basic adhere with liquid glue and popped up the DSP with dimensionals.
Lastly, I added a strawberry Slush bow and three gold flower accents to finish out the card.
