Each month, a group of demonstrators worldwide participate in a blog hop. We love to share our creativity with our followers and with each other. If you are new, welcome to our blog hop. If you are a returning blog hopper, thank you for following.
Today’s blog hop is Halloween-inspired, sharing spooktacular creepy crawly spookiest projects this month! The project features a haunted house. Do you like haunted houses? Do you like being scared? Have your heart racing? Not me! Would run like I am being chased by zombies😆!
Highlighting a creative Halloween glow-in-the-dark card paired with Them Bones designer series paper and the Tricks & Treat stamp set. This card is a simple card to create. I found the tutorial on the YouTube channel Call Me Crafty Al.

This is the front of the card. Does it look spooky or fun?

Here is the card with it glowing. Now that is spooky! Using the glow-in-the-dark paper, the haunted house has a spine-chilling effect, just waiting for a witch to fly in or see dancing skeletons in the windows. The black cat on the back of the card fits perfectly for this spooky card. Do you see the eerie glow of the ghost and bat on the card? Look closely, see them hauntingly glow.

Love the designer series paper in the Them Bones pack. So many creepy crawly things can be created.

Have you ever been to a haunted house? I have only once. Got sick and threw up everywhere. Never been back to one since. All the fake blood and goriness is not for me.
Love to re-create this card? Here are the supplies and steps for it.
- Tuxedo Black ink
- Them Bones DSP
- Basic Black cardstock
- Basic White cardstock
- Glow in the Dark 6×6 specialty paper
- Glow-in-the-Dark Bats and Ghosts
- heat gun
- Multipurpose Glue
- Cut basic black cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ for card base.
- Cut one basic black square 3″ x 2-1/4″ and one at 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4.”
- Cut basic white cardstock for the inside of the card 5-1/4″ x 4″ and adhere to the inside.
- Cut DSP 5-1/4″ x 4″ and adhere to the card base front.
- Cut the glow-in-the-dark paper to 2″ x 2″ and stamp the haunted house onto the glow-in-the-dark paper. Tip: use a heat gun to dry the ink so the image does not smear.
- Adhere the glow-in-the-dark paper to the basic black 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ square piece.
- Take the DSP 2-3/4″ x 2″ and adhere to the basic black 3″ x 2-1/4.” Now cut it into two pieces, one 1″ and the other should be 2″ (see cutting diagram below.)
- Adhere 1″ piece to the left side of the card front and the 2″ on the right side. Adhere the haunted house piece to the center.
- Finally, add a ghost and bat to the card front.
