Love autumn days and cool nights. Get together with family on the weekends having a fire in a fire ring, cooking hot dogs, and making smores with hot apple cider and hot chocolate. Wearing my favorite flannel shirt and comfortable jeans all the while talking about life and those who cannot be with us.
This autumn season brings back so many memories of me and my brothers playing ghosts in the graveyard in the pile of leaves. Now that I am older, I love taking walks in our local parks.
This card that I am featuring reminded me of those walks in the parks. Using the All About Autumn designer series paper and it is beautiful paper! There are so many beautiful papers in the collection.
Added a sentiment, ribbon, and three dots to the card. The paper is doing all the work for the card. This card was featured in last month’s card class to-go.
Supplies and steps for the card.
- All About Autumn bundle
- Pecan Pie cardstock
- Pumpkin Pie cardstock
- Very Vanilla cardstock
- All About Autumn designer series paper
- Pecan Pie ink pad
- Adhesive-backed Speckled Dots
- Natural and Copper Combo pack
- Double Ovale Punch
- Multipurpose Glue
- Stampin’ Dimensional
- Cut the pecan pie card base to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4.”
- Cut the pumpkin pie layer to 5-1/4″ x 4″ and adhere to card base.
- Cut the designer series paper layer to 5″ x 3-3/4″ and adhere to card the pumpkin pie layer.
- Cut the natural ribbon to 4″ and cut the ends at an angle and using glue dots, add to the designer series paper layer towards the bottom of the card.
- Take 7″ of copper ribbon and layer over the natural ribbon (see photo) and adhere with glue dots.
- Punch from designer series paper and very vanilla cardstock. Stamp the sentiment in pecan pie onto the very vanilla cardstock.
- Adhere the sentiment to the designer series paper layer with dimensional. Adhere this over the copper ribbon with dimensional.
- Add three adhesive-backed speckled dots.
